We are doing our best to ensure The Amsterdam is a safe place for our staff and customers and are following government guidelines as closely as possible.
We are requested to gather contact details of the lead person of each party on every visit. You can save time by downloading this form, filling it in and printing it out in advance.
GOVERNMENT GUIDANCE FOR SEATING:
“Indoor gatherings should only be occurring in groups of up to 2 households (including support bubbles) while outdoor gatherings should only be occurring in groups of up to 2 households (or support bubbles), or a group of at most 6 people from any number of households.”We are obliged to follow the government guidance on seating. By booking at / entering The Amsterdam you are agreeing that your party meets these criteria. We will always do our best to accommodate people but please appreciate with the current restrictions, and for your safety, this might not always be possible.
COVID-19 Response StatementHand sanitising stations are available at the entrances – please use them. We also encourage regular hand washing – antibacterial handwash is supplied in the toilets.
We want all our customers to enjoy their visit to The Amsterdam – but unfortunately, we have to ask you to remain seated as far as possible. Please do not move tables and chairs as they are spaced out to maintain social distancing. Tables and chairs will be cleaned between use.
Your order will be taken at and drinks brought to your table. Empty glasses will be cleared by a member of staff – no need to bring them to the bar!
If you need to use the toilet please ask for a token at the bar – a maximum of 4 people can use the toilets at any one time. If they are busy please return and wait at your table. The toilets are cleaned hourly.
We appreciate this might not be the pub experience you are used to but ask that you bear with us while we do our best to ensure you have a great time!
